Had an amazing xmas at this cozy cottage! The hosts were welcoming and friendly, the location was perfect for walking to the village and the beach, and the solarium was a lovely place to relax. Loved the well-equipped kitchen and the extra touches like the provided food and drink upon arrival. The swings in the huge garden were a hit with the kids too!
some local dog walkers didn't clean up after their dogs, which was a bit unpleasant.

The garden with various seating areas outside overlooking the field and Cornish engine house was a delightful spot to unwind and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. It felt like stepping into a secret garden, with hidden nooks and crannies waiting to be discovered. I could almost imagine myself as Alice in Wonderland, exploring a whimsical wonderland.
Parking next door was a bit tight.

Located in a peaceful, off-road location but still within walking distance to restaurants, pubs, and the beach. the owners are friendly and welcoming, providing thoughtful arrival goodies. the cottage is well-designed with extensions for added comfort and space. It has a cozy lounge with a log burning stove, a fully equipped kitchen, and a bright conservatory. the bathrooms are modern and there is a lovely garden with seating and BBQ facilities.
Some local dog walkers do not clean up after their dogs, so guests should be mindful of dog mess in the area.

We got great value for our money at a lovely property that felt like a home away from home. The location was excellent, just a short stroll into town, and the staff, Ruth and Pete, really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.
It would have been nice to have more variety in the breakfast offerings, but everything else was perfect.
